The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: Are your protagonists usually likeable?
Sentence: When the leprechaun king learned the last pot of gold had been stolen, he threw down his hat and stomped all over it for a full five minutes.
Paragraph: While looking at her full calendar, everything blurred with tears. It was too much. She could not handle all of the appointments. Her head hurt thinking about trying to get everything done. She was exhausted beyond belief and let her iPhone slip out of her hand and into the river below.
Prompt: Name your biggest disappointment.
Word of the Day: rimose – adj. full of cracks, fissures, or crevices Also rimous (WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 3rd ed., 1996)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you
