The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: Is there anyplace you won’t go?
Sentence: The froth around its mouth did not bother me as much as the hell emanating from its eyes.
Paragraph: With my body immobile and my head in a vise, I could only struggle in my mind. The creatures were vilely mating on top of me, their disgusting fluids and grotesque organs dangerously close to my face. I feared being blinded by even a drop of their noxious secretions, but my eyelids had been gripped open.
Prompt: Relate an animal antic you have enjoyed.
Word of the Day: fardel – n 1 : BUNDLE 2 : BURDEN (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition, 2011)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
