The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: For what scenario does age make no difference?
Sentence: If she had to deal with one more unthinking moron, she was going to explode.
Paragraph: Just before dawn Sebastian crept behind the bushes next to Bennett’s house, stopping beneath his friend’s bedroom window. He had left behind his little turd brother, Timmy, whom he had promised umpteen times to take along. This mission was too important to be messed up, and Timmy had a big history of messing up stuff.
Prompt: Describe your most recent naughtiness.
Word of the Day: gimcrack – n. 1. a showy, useless trifle; gewgaw; trinket. – adj. 2. showy but useless. (RANDOM HOUSE WEBSTER’S COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 1991)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
