The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: Are you where you want to be?
Sentence: As soon as his skis hit the snow, he forgot everything his instructor had said.
Paragraph: Joy wished she had known about surrogacy years ago. It could have been her life’s work: to help childless couples become parents. Truth be told, she loved being pregnant, feeling the kicks and rollings. Her body seemed to have been made for growing big, healthy babies. Perhaps she would have felt differently had she experienced morning sickness, but she never had.
Prompt: Recall your favorite day of this year.
Word of the Day: gladsome – adj : giving or showing joy : CHEERFUL <~ news> (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition, 2011)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
