The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: What is it about your family that you love the most?
Sentence: Propped up and strapped in the wheelchair, no longer able to control his body, tears rolled down his face in absolute abjection.
Paragraph: What is it that you want, Lilly? he had snarled, causing her to cringe stupidly. She faced the broad window but reflected inwardly, not seeing or appreciating the little ecosystem she had created. Why couldn’t she express herself succinctly to him? Everyone else thought she was a kindhearted genius and showed her the utmost respect; so why didn’t or couldn’t he?
Prompt: Name something that makes you queasy.
Word of the Day: bombinate – vi. to buzz, as a fly (WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 3rd ed., 1996)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
