The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: Which weather condition do you like the best?
Sentence: Seeing the damage done to her garden, Belle fell to her knees and wept.
Paragraph: He set the dog house on fire to reinforce a belief that his parents cared more about the damn dog than him. True to form, they came rushing out to rescue Charlie. From his treehouse, he watched his frantic mother trying to turn on the hose, but he had shut off the water. His father burned his hands while batting at the flames with a kitchen towel. Stupid idiots!
Prompt: Name a place where you feel content.
Word of the Day: tactility – n 1 : the capability of being felt or touched 2 : responsiveness to stimulation of the sense of touch (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition, 2011)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
