The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: Have you successfully warned someone against a certain relationship?
Sentence: Leeann was sick of being the strong one.
Paragraph: Although he hated road trips, Dax loved driving through tunnels and Pennsylvania had a lot of them. He watched for them and his heart started racing as soon as he could see the hole in a mountain. He wished his dad would turn off the headlights, wished it was completely dark – blacker than night even. But his stupid sister spoiled everything by screaming everytime, even in the short ones. He covered his ears and wished she was dead.
Prompt: Write an essay on one subject/issue you would like to change in your country and how you might be able to make a difference.
Word of the Day: bosket or bosquet – n. a grove; thicket. (RANDOM HOUSE WEBSTER’S COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 1991)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
