The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: What triggers your emotions?
Sentence: With a full moon rising, Darius would not be quiet for long.
Paragraph: To better see her eyes in the hand mirror, she went to the window, where sunlight was streaming in. Around each tiny pupil a dark yellow spikey areola reached out into a bluish green, which ended in a ring of dark blue. She did not think anyone had ever been close enough to her eyes to notice how incredible they were. With a sigh she went back to brushing her teeth.
Prompt: Describe the most silence you have ever had to bear or been able to enjoy.
Word of the Day: fossette – n. 1 a small hollow 2 a dimple (WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 3rd ed., 1996)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
