The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: What do you have to force yourself to do?
Sentence: “Here’s your breakfast, my lovely,” he whispered unnecessarily, sliding the tray under the bars of my cage.
Paragraph: As dawn approached, birds began chirping and tweeting. She loved being awakened that way. A dim light surrounding the closed blinds silently alerted her of a new day, as well. Each day was new for Rosemary, with endless possibilities. She might be able to speak on this day; she might be able to walk.
Prompt: Name the best April Fool’s joke ever played on you or that you ever pulled on someone else.
Word of the Day: puissant – adj syn POWERFUL 2. forceful, forcible, mighty, potent (Webster’s Collegiate Thesaurus, 1976)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
