The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, beginning paragraph, prompt, and word-of-the-day to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: What color of eyes turn you on?
Sentence: The blood is back.
Paragraph: Matt licked the spoon and then, because nobody was around to tell him otherwise, he licked the bowl as well. The ice cream still chilled his belly and he wanted more. But he had had three bowls and none was left. Mum would be mad, but she’d forgive him, like always. He rinsed the spoon and bowl, leaving them in the sink, then took the empty container out to the trash bin. Just like she had taught him all those years ago.
Prompt: Describe what you feel makes the world go round.
Word of the Day: nonesuch – n : a person or thing without equal (Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition, 2011)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
