The purpose of this blog is to help writers with their work, to be museful or perhaps instrumental in unclogging thoughts. To this end, I am providing a daily question, beginning sentence, and beginning paragraph to stimulate your “little gray cells.”
Question: How long have you gone without what you needed?
Sentence: The church bell rang again – number 27 had been found.
Paragraph: It all started with a wacky idea and mushroomed out of control. No one had expected Dan’s Stinkless Toilet to succeed, let alone put him up there with Thomas Edison and John Crapper. We all thought it was an invention that was long overdue, but remarkable Dan made it happen in 30 years, 2 months, and 17 days from inception to conception.
Word of the Day: comity – n. courteous behavior; politeness; civility. (WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD COLLEGE DICTIONARY, 3rd ed., 1996)
If your work needs a title, tweaking, or critiquing, please do not hesitate to ask. Cyranette is here for you.
